Author - Charles Lindbergh

Charles A. Lindbergh (1902–1974) became internationally famous for completing the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight in May 1927. Before the flight, he worked as a U.S. Air Mail pilot, and his technical acumen and self-discipline defined both his aviation and literary careers. In addition to WE, he wrote several other books, including The Spirit of St. Louis, which won the Pulitzer Prize. He remained a central, though sometimes controversial, figure in American history until his death.
