Written and recorded in “a small tin can of a caravan” he called home, this song carries the raw, heartfelt spirit of that time—don’t expect studio polish, but do expect pure emotion. Today, this single takes on a new purpose, released on Stuff.io as a lifeline for Pip’s 5-month-old daughter, April, who faces a parent’s worst nightmare: a Wilms Tumour diagnosis, a rare and aggressive childhood kidney cancer.

April’s long journey begins with 12 months of chemotherapy and surgery at a children’s hospital, over five hours from the family’s home. Pip and his partner, Rose, are navigating this storm while caring for their spirited toddler, Theo, and balancing time away from work.
