Please write down and store your seed phrase in a safe place. If you lose access to your MetaMask wallet and do not have your recovery phrase, your assets will be lost.<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Log into your Book.io account<\/strong><br\/><br\/><\/li>\n<li><strong>Click on your account name then &#8220;Account Settings&#8221;<\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"hs-image-align-none\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/stuff.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Account2520options-png-scaled.png\" style=\"font-size: 1rem; height: auto;\"\/><br\/><br\/><\/li>\n<li><strong>On your Account Settings pages hit the 3 dots next to the wallet you want to take sef-custody of. Then click &#8220;View Seed Phrase&#8221;.<\/strong><br\/><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"View Seed phrase\" class=\"hs-image-align-none\" height=\"342\" loading=\"lazy\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 688px) 100vw, 688px\" src=\"https:\/\/stuff.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/View2520Seed2520phrase.png\" style=\"height: auto; width: 688px;\" width=\"688\"\/><br\/><br\/><\/li>\n<li><strong>A pop-up will appear, asking you to enter your 4-digit pin for your account, then click &#8220;Unlock&#8221;.<br\/><br\/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>A new pop-up will appear, make sure no one is around to copy your seed phrase and click &#8220;View Seed Phrase&#8221;.<br\/><br\/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Your seed phrase will be revealed (like below but with all words visible).<\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"See phrase\" class=\"hs-image-align-none\" height=\"340\" loading=\"lazy\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 688px) 100vw, 688px\" src=\"https:\/\/stuff.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/See2520phrase.png\" style=\"height: auto; width: 688px;\" width=\"688\"\/><\/li>\n<li><strong>Highlight and copy your seed phrase (it&#8217;s a good practice to write down your seed phrase and put it in a secure place, such as a safe). Never store your seed phrase on your computer or phone.<br\/><br\/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Next, you will enter your seed phrase into MetaMask. Click on the MetaMask extension, this will launch a webpage.<br\/><br\/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Select &#8220;Import an existing wallet&#8221;.<\/strong><br\/><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Create new mm wallet\" class=\"hs-image-align-none\" height=\"374\" loading=\"lazy\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 688px) 100vw, 688px\" src=\"https:\/\/stuff.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Create2520new2520mm2520wallet.png\" style=\"height: auto; width: 688px;\" width=\"688\"\/><br\/><br\/><\/li>\n<li><strong>Read the terms and conditions and make your selection to agree or not.<br\/><br\/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The import screen will appear. All your Digitally Encrypted Assets will be in your MetaMask wallet.
