    Descripción

Set in the late 19th century, the narrative unfolds within the grandeur of the Paris Opera House, renowned as the Palais Garnier. Central to the tale is a mysterious and disfigured figure known as the Phantom, dwelling in the catacombs beneath the opera house. His infatuation with Christine Daaé, a gifted and enchanting young singer, spirals into an obsessive pursuit.

Themes of love, beauty, and the perilous nature of obsession permeate the novel, with the Phantom’s disfigurement serving as a pivotal motif, underscoring the dichotomy between inner beauty and outward appearance.

“The Phantom of the Opera” has transcended its literary origins, undergoing adaptations into various forms such as films, stage plays, and musicals. This timeless Gothic narrative, entwining mystery and romance while delving into the complexities of human nature, continues to captivate audiences across more than a century.
