Autor - John Buchan

John Buchan (1875–1940) was a Scottish novelist, historian and statesman whose writing combined high adventure and vivid landscapes with moral purpose. Born in Perth on 26 August 1875 and passing away in Montreal on 11 February 1940, he wrote more than a hundred books, held public office including Governor General of Canada, and is best remembered for The Thirty-Nine Steps, which helped define the modern thriller.
