A California native, Alan has not yet escaped to the Shire, but nevertheless managed to begin The Prancing Pony Podcast with Shawn E. Marchese in 2016. He believes Tolkien can take over the world, and hopes to be a part of the process. He lives with his wife and two children, all of whom have been immensely long-suffering.
